After a long wait, Wizards of the Coast (WotC) has finally announced a release date for MTG Arena on macOS. Beginning June 25, mac owners will be able to download MTG Arena from the Epic Games Store. Despite running on a different operation system, the game will be exactly the same and will feature a shared queue system and full cross-platform compatibility.
According to WotC, they made the decision to make MTG Arena available through the Epic Games Store because it was the “fastest way we could get a native, full-featured macOS client to our players…” and currently has no plans to support MTG Arena on standalone mac clients. Read More...
