The last One Piece and Bleach movies were co-directed by the creators only to add more popularity for the movie, while being in production. lol the mangakas work for them... not the other way xD like when the editor tells or suggest to the mangaka to change certain parts of the pages or story.
Just remember the "Director's cut" ver. :3 or new versions made after a while because they didn't had the technology or budget to add certain scenes.

Hmmm, yeah, they did tell the Togainu anime was going to have a lot of redone art and such on the DVD... but they are really expensive, though! Around 4000 yen for two episodes is not worth it for me >w>;; I'd rather buy the bootleg anime you can find on ebay now xD

It's just that some fans only seem to think about the lack of yaoi, when they hear about the manga, while the manga keeps so faithfully to the plot, and is really wonderful v w v;; I don't like it when fans act shallow and don't give it a chance, just cause it lacks pure sex.
I haven't heard about that? I did hear another BL anime was canceled cause of financial issues the last minute, though. Ai no Kusabi, I think? .__.;;
