Niousha Noor is an Iranian American actress based in Los Angeles. Hossein Jafarian, a cinematographer, is her father.

Noor has appeared in a number of TV shows and films, most notably as Donya in HBO’s Here and Now. In 2020, Noor co-starred with Shahab Hosseini in IFC’s psychological thriller The Night, which became the first film produced in the United States to be licensed for theatrical release in Iran since the 1979 revolution. Her performance as Neda earned her widespread praise. Noor was announced as a principal cast member of the Netflix series Kaleidoscope, a heist caper, in September 2021, as part of a team led by Giancarlo Esposito’s character. Noor was cast as the lead in Maryam Keshavarz’s The Persian Version, which will have its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in 2023, competing in the U.S. Dramatic category.
